Enchanting Editorial: Blake Lively in US Glamour

I’ll admit I have a bit of a girl crush on Miss Blake Lively. I mean, look at her, she has blonde bombshell written all over her. This shoot in US Glamour’s July edition is giving me all kinds of retro style inspiration too.

Beauty Editorial: Chanel Campaigns
There’s something about Chanel beauty campaigns that I find just magical. I’m constantly captivated by the imagery and the photographic experimentation with light and shadow.
Always cast with sexy yet strong women, each picture evokes a sense of desire and of course a need for the product.
Photos by Jean-Baptiste Mondino (Vanessa), Dominique Issermann (Keira and Audrey) and video directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Enchanting Editorial: Charlize Theron in Elle France

This beautiful shoot for Elle France is by Dusan Reljin, capturing Charlize as a soft, natural sex kitten type. I love the styling and the winged eyeliner. Check out the full spread here at Fashionising.

Enchanting Editorial: Kirsten Dunst in V Magazine

This spread in V Magazine‘s April issue by Mario Testino shows how effective a plain background can be. It lets the stylist (Nicola Formichetti) get inventive with her canvas (Kirsten Dunst) without worrying about how cluttered the final shot may look. I love the extravagant headpieces and dresses paired with simple hair and a red lip. Glamourous and dramatic.

Enchanting Editorial: Jennifer Aniston in Harper’s Bazaar UK
I love the use of light in this Harper’s Bazaar UK spread (May 2010 issue) photographed by Alexi Lubomirski. Jennifer Aniston always looks sunkissed and casual yet gorgeous – these pictures just accentuate it.

Enchanting Editorial: Dazed & Confused April 2010
As this blog evolves, I keep coming up with more content that I want to fill it with. The new post category I came up with this morning is Enchanting Editorial. I do love magazines, particularly when they do interesting fashion spreads.
The very first installment of this section is from Britain’s Dazed and Confused magazine starring actress Riley Keough. I love the ecclectic mix of tough, grungey cool and the innocence of the lace dress pictures.

This lovely shoot by Jason Kibbler (featuring model Barbara Palvin) pays homage to the new retro feminine trend with its full skirts and voluminous hairstyles. Sexy in its own way with the come-hither winged eyes and the couldn’t-care-less attitude.
