Welcome to Thursday lovely readers!

Hope you’ve got a stack of the week’s loves to share today (I do love to hear them). Here are my favourite things this week (sung in a Julie Andrews/Sound of Music style).  ; )

Patterns on delicious coffee. Don’t you love it when your barista makes a real effort and puts a beautiful fern or heart-shaped pattern on your coffee? I do, and this happened to me on Tuesday at breakfast. Awesome.

Celebrating monthly anniversaries. T and I try to go out for dinner or do something special on our monthly anniversaries. People scoff but I think it’s great. This week was a fabulous Italian meal at one of our favourite St Kilda restaurants, Rococco.

Taking time out. Today, at the end of my lunchbreak, I put one of my old favourite songs by Jewel on my iPod and closed my eyes. I just sat there in the foyer of my building, trying to clear my head and just breathe – something I should definitely do more often.

Gigi Dress by Jayson Brunsdon

New dress. Unfortunately this love point is in jeopardy. I bought this gorgeous dress online and then 2 days later received an email that it is unavailable. I’m hoping they can track one down for me as I had my heart set on wearing this to my boyfriend’s 25th birthday in early June. *sigh* We’ll see…

Twitterati polls. I love my Twitter friends and all the immediate help they dish out. I was unsure if I should buy said dress above due to my need for serious saving, but they convinced me that it was well worth the investment.

Other:   Headbands, bright prints amongst the Melbourne sea of black clothing, yum cha in great company, kiwifruit, Mad Men, clients that wear hilariously loud ties, buying bargain clothing that doesn’t need ironing for our trip & long sparkly earrings.

LOVELY CYBERSPACE CONTRIBUTIONS

Amy:   Preparing for fashion photo shoot to display my latest designs and having a fantastic team of people involved.  : )

Caitlin:   Bad girl dress, good girl hair (at PRIMPED), drinks before Wednesday, 40% choc-chip cookies, Two Door Cinema Club and sunlight.

Catherine:   Overseas travel!!! Our USA tix are booked!

Deborah:   Sketching out jewellery designs that have been forming in my head. This step of the design process is so fun!

Felicity:   My boyfriend cooking dinner two nights in a row AND cleaning up too!! Sporadic shopping plans, entertaining emails and COFFEE!

Jackson:   I love myself. I am awesome.

Jess:   Hot chocolates and snuggly bathrobes.

Melbourne’s GPO:   MIMCO’s Shoe Sale

Melena:   I’ve been loving cold weather with warm blankets, jumpers, scarves and ugg boots.

Michal:   Running, cottage cheese, roasted beetroot, losing weight, planning trips and winter accessories!!  : )

Sandrine:   Have loved seeing rainbows this week! Nature brightened those sad days.

Sarah K:   Phone calls from overseas relatives, sleeping in my own bed, Melbourne (and EVERYTHING about it, including weather).

Sarah W:   That feeling when you’ve handed in an assignment, yummy dinners, my beanie that I can finally wear coz its winter, my snuggle bum cat on cold days.

What have you been loving this week?

Oh, I love it when complete strangers put an effort into making you happy! Coffee art is a great example! I try to do this at work too, as often as I can. Makes me happy too!
